I was wondering if I would have a great amount of lead in my body if I owned allot of lead miniatures(ghq)? I mean can the lead come off the models and does it come off if you touch them? Maybe I am worrying about nothing but I was just wondering if you knew? Thanks

I hate to say it but I wondered that as well...the only thing I can say to that is normally you paint them thus covering them up (Safer?) Also GHQ and CnC I believe are making them out of pewter (In the past pewter often contained lead but as awareness has grown into the harmful effects of lead it should now have been eliminated) This happened awhile back in the Micro Armor industry...and caused a big price jump.  Not sure I answered any questions but hope it helped

Nice website….

…and I thought I had the largest micro armor collection with 3,000+ miniatures.

Believe it or not I've seen a few with around 10000.. I really thought mine was one of the largest...but maybe not

(P.S I have around 7000 1/285 &1/300th scale micro armor)

One more question - What type of putty, or other substance do you use to blend or taper the hill surface to the "flat" terrain, making it relatively seamless?

None....with a little sand paper you can soften the edges... when you paint it go a little heavier on the joints....(the paint hides allot)
